Sexual healing: 6 ways to boost your libido naturally

Has your sex drive gone absent for a long time now? Low libido is a common problem which is usually triggered by emotional and/or hormonal issues. The following natural remedies will help rev up your desire for sex once again.

Love foods:
The rule 'junk in, junk out' proves to be true: a vibrant, healthy, balanced, and energizing diet contributes a major role in giving you the same health benefits in the bedroom as much as a heavy, high-fat diet makes you sluggish.

Oysters, crab, chicken, cashews, fortified cereals, and chickpeas are good sources of Zinc which is essential for the production and proper release of sex hormones in both men and women.

Foods high in antioxidants such as red grapes, berries, and chocolates may also help as do spices such as ginger, chilies, nutmeg, and curry which are believed to help stimulate circulation to the genital area. The L-arginine amino acid also helps stimulate the body’s production of nitric acid which amplifies blood supply to the genitals.

To help calm your nervous system and reduce any anxiety with regards to sexual intercourse, you may take Vitamin B-complex supplements which also aid the synthesis of hormones related to sexual function.

Turn to the East:

Low libido according to traditional Eastern/Chinese medicine may also be caused by certain kidney deficiencies most especially if it’s symptoms include tiredness, dizziness, or lower back pain. The following natural tonics are said to help improve low libido: Chinese yam, Chinese foxglove, Saigon cinnamon, Asiatic cornelian cherry, peony root, and wolfberry.

Foods like black sesame seeds, Chinese jujubes, sword beans, chicken liver, and wheat also increases kidney vigor, as does acupuncture.

Go herbal:
If fatigue and depression are the main causes of your low libido, herbs such as ginseng and ashwagandha will help you build energy and stamina as well as regulate your body’s metabolic rate, helping to protect it against emotional and/or mental stress.

Ginkgo is a tonic antioxidant that helps enhance blood flow to the body’s extremities, including sex organs.

Maca is a South American native root plant that is believed to nourish the endocrine glands (for producing as well as releasing sex hormones), to improve adrenal and pituitary gland functioning, to stimulate the hypothalamus, and to support and balance sex hormones therefore boosting dwindling desire for sex. (It also promotes vaginal tenderness.) Simply add one teaspoonful of its powder to your drink daily.

Sarsaparilla also mimics the effect of some sex hormones thus acting as a tonic for sexual health. It contains steroidal saponins.

Damiana is a stimulant for the nervous system that has been traditionally used for promoting energy and increasing libido in women. On the other hand, you should only use it under professional supervision. Finding a certified herbalist can help give you a prescription personalized to your needs.

Go E-asy:
When a woman’s estrogen levels decline during pre-menopause as well as during menopause itself, it results to the dryness and thinning of the vaginal tissues also know as vaginal atrophy. And poor lubrication in the vaginal area means painful sex affecting one’s interest in sex so better seek treatment.

Conventional prescription treatments include hormone creams or pessaries, and alternative remedies include massaging the contents of a Vitamin-E capsule into your vagina daily.  You can also use over-the-counter wild yam creams, which balances the hormones when rubbed on to the vaginal skin.

Avoid lubricant gels made with petroleum derivatives, mineral oil, parabens, and artificial perfumes or coloring. Instead, opt for water-based lubricants made with all-natural ingredients such as the kiwifruit-based Sylk gel, or the chamomile/aloe vera gel AstroGlide.

Have Some Ommm:
Manage stress by allotting time to exercise and meditate. Psychological factors related to depression and stress can decrease your sex drive because of the negative effects of the cortisol and adrenalin stress hormones. These reduce the sex drive receptors’ reactivity because of its 'fight or flight' bodily response to stress.

If bad relationship, poor body image, and/or low self-esteem are the main issues that interfere with your sex life, you may need to seek counsel from a qualified therapist.

Check your meds:
Prescription medications such as antidepressants, pain relievers, and drugs for chemotherapy and blood pressure can produce undesirable side effects to your sexual health. Even non-prescription antihistamines may also kill libido. Ask your doctor if one of your medicines may be the possible cause of your low sex drive.

Has your drive for sex declined over the recent years? Have you tried any of the above methods?

[DIVISION OF LABOR]

This assignment paper requires the student to: Discuss the concept of division of labor in today’s corporations.

DIVISION OF LABOR

Division of labor is the term used to refer to the segregation of work into separate jobs or tasks assigned to several different people. This subdivision of work gives way to job specialization, since each job now consist of a limited subset of tasks required to complete a particular product or service. As corporations grow, a vertical division of labor usually occurs, accompanying a horizontal division of labor: Some individuals are assigned the role of supervising other employees; while others take responsibility for managing those supervisors, and so on and so forth.

Why do companies or corporations segregate the work or tasks required to complete into several separate jobs? Answer: Job specialization increases efficiency of work. Four job workers can master their tasks quicker because the cycles of work are much shorter. They waste less time switching from one task to another, and training costs are also reduced because employees are only required fewer mental and/or physical skills to accomplish their assigned work. Finally, job specialization makes it more efficient to match people with specific skills or aptitudes to the jobs that are best suited for them. Employees are much skilled in different areas. Although one person can work alone, for instance preparing, serving, and marketing food products all together, doing so would take him/her more time to do than having someone else prepare the food, somebody else to serve it to customers, and still yet another person or persons to do all the marketing, accounting, purchasing, and other related functions.

ADVANTAGES of Division of Labor

• The right man doing the right job: Under job specialization, each person will get to do the job for which he/she is best suited. “There will be no round pegs placed in square holes.” Each job will be better done by everyone.
• Time Saving: The worker/employee no longer has to switch from doing one process to another as he/she works only on the exact same process. With this, work goes on without much loss of valuable time.
• The worker becomes a specialist: Under job specialization, the worker/employee keeps doing his/her assigned task only. By constantly repeating this action, he/she becomes an expert in this task, and in time he/she will be able to produce better service or goods. Practice makes perfect and the skill and craftsmanship of each person in the factory increases.
• Less training required: As a worker only has to do his/her part of the job, he/she then needs to master only that part. Thus, long and costly trainings become unnecessary. It will take a longer time for someone to learn how to build a complete chair than it will take him/her to learn how to perfectly polish it.
• Invention: When a person is doing the exact same job over and over again, new ideas will occur leading to many great inventions. These inventions lead to economic progress.
• Heavy work is done by machinery: In a division of labor, it is possible for heavy work to be allocated to machinery as only light work can be done by workers so that they get less strained.
• Economic use of tools: In this setup, it becomes unnecessary to provide each employee/worker with a complete set of tools/equipments to be able to do the entire work. He only needs a few tools for the specific job or task he has to do. He/she also keeps using these same tools so it is very economical.
• Cheaper things: As division of labor and the use of machinery creates mass production, it makes it possible to produce cheaper things as well. Even less fortunate people can now buy stuffs and the standard of living generally improves.

DISADVANTAGES of Division of Labor

• Monotony: Doing the same task over and over again without any changes creates mental fatigue in the worker. The job becomes monotonous and un-enjoyable, and the worker loses interest. The quality of his/her work then suffers.
• Destroys the creative instinct: Since many people contributed each to the making of a chair, no one can say that he/she made it; the creative instinct of each person is not satisfied. Each person’s job gives him/her no pleasure and no pride since none of the workers can claim that the product is his or her own creation.
• Loss of skill: The overall skilled worker deteriorates in terms of technical skill. Instead of building a whole chair, he/she is required to keep doing only a few simple steps of the process, and the skill of building a complete chair gradually dies out.
• Loss of development of one’s personality: If a person has been making an eighteenth part of a high-chair, he becomes only an eighteenth part of a person as well. This narrowed down sphere of work tends to decrease the proper mental and/or physical development of the entire person.
• Check mobility: The worker is doing only one part of the entire job, thus he knows only that much and nothing else. In this way, he/she losses mobility as it may not be easy for him/her to find the exact same type of job elsewhere if he does need some change.
• Risk of unemployment: If a worker/employee is dismissed from the factory he/she is currently working in, he/she may find it difficult to find a job for he/she has only one specialty. He may be able to create the legs of a chair excellently, yet it is doubtful if he can build an entire chair. His chances of getting more related jobs elsewhere will be slimmer.
• Loss of sense of responsibility: No one can be held responsible for any bad production that ensues because no one can be said to have had built the “chair”. When something goes wrong, everybody tries to pass on the responsibility to someone else.
• Problem of distribution: Under job specialization or division of labor, many individuals contribute to the production of a piece of item or in this case a piece of furniture. They each must receive a due share of the profit and the amount of this share is not at all easy to determine. Hence, the problem of distribution arises. If only one worker had produced an item, he/she independently would get his/her entire share of its value so there becomes no trouble. But division of labor tends to divide the community’s people into two conflicting groups, i.e. capital holder and labor worker. The gap between these two groups is ever growing, and thus strikes and lockouts have become a common incidence these days due to the problem of distribution.
• Dependence: A necessary consequence of the system of division of labor is the ensuing dependence of one country on another country from where it is getting its workers from. This dependence proves perilous in times of war.
• Evils of the factory system: Division of labor essentially gives birth to factory system, which is a load full of various evils. It abuses the environment, exploits women and children, and eliminates the humane factor in the production and administration of different products and/or services.

25 Rules for choosing the right domain name

Cancelled:

"25 Rules for choosing the right domain name:"

1. Choose “.com” domains – In choosing the right domain name for your business it is of much greater importance to choose .com top-level domains/ TLDs because of the popularity that .com names bring. People know that most new businesses have websites ending in .com so it will be easier for them to remember your domain name, compared to if it is ending in .net or .org or .biz, etc.  Of course, businesses located in other countries other than US may be an exemption. Instead of using .com, they may use .uk (if in the UK), .au (if in Australia), .de (if in Germany), .cn (if in China), .ca (if in Canada), and so on and so forth.

2. Other extensions – Once you have decided on a good domain name with a .com ending then you might also want to purchase as many of its other extensions as well and then redirect those to your main site, your .com domain name. For instance, if you’re able to buy the domain name sallysfoodblog.com then register sallysfoodblog.net, sallysfoodblog.biz, sallysfoodblog.info, etc. as well, then redirect all of them to sallysfoodblog.com. Doing this has 2 key benefits: 1) when people accidentally type in sallysfoodblog.net then they will automatically be taken to the site sallysmusicblog.com and, 2) it will prevent other people (who possibly want to steal traffic away from your site) from purchasing domains that are similar to yours but just with a different domain name extension.

3. Industry jargon – Another good strategy in purchasing domain names is to use industry jargon or terms that are specific to your site’s niche. Doing this can increase your site’s credibility in the eyes of visitors – particularly those who know all about the jargon in your industry.

4. Easy to understand – Make sure that when someone encounters your domain name for the very first time, they should be able to grasp right away what your site or business is all about.

5. Better be short! – A short domain name simply is easier for visitors to remember, and also easier for them to type. It is also easier for people to share to others.

6. Memorable – If you can easily recall a domain name after you have heard it just once, then you have found a memorable domain name. Use it.

7. Unique – Also use a unique domain name as it also easier to remember.

8. Brandable – Before Google.com was that brandable and extremely valuable, nobody knew what “Google” was or what it meant. You can also choose a clever yet brandable domain name but just make sure to not get too carried away. A simple brandable domain name can go a long way in giving instant popularity to your website.

9. Avoid slang – Don’t use slang spellings for your domain name no matter how much you want to create a brandable name out of it. It would be easy for people to mistype your URL and be taken to a different website so don’t use “u” for “you” or other similar slang versions.

10. Refer to a Thesaurus – If you find it difficult to come up with a new domain name, grab a Thesaurus or go to Thesaurus.com to find good synonyms to words that best describe your business or website.

11. Easy to spell – As much as possible prefer a domain name that has only one possible spelling. Most people find it difficult to spell, let alone remember your site’s name and its spelling.

12. Easy to type – The easier it is to type a domain name, the more effective it will be.

13. No hyphens, please – Avoid using hyphenated domain names. Not only can people forget where its hyphen or hyphens go, a hyphenated domain name can direct people instead to other similar domains with no hyphens and lose you significant traffic (i.e. instead of a visitor going to your domain name johns-carpeting.com, he types johnscarpeting.com instead (without hyphen) and is then taken to a competitor’s website). Also, hyphenated domain names often seem like a cheap version to similar domain names without hyphens. Instead of registering johns-carpeting.com, a much better domain choice would be johnscarpeting.com (again, without hyphen).

14. Avoid substituting numerals – As much as possible do not to use the numerals “4″ as replacement for “for” or “2″ as replacement for “to”, etc. Having numerals in a domain name can sometimes work just okay but often they can be very confusing and difficult to remember.

15. DON’T use the numeral “0″ – The numeral “0″ (or zero) is often mistaken for letter “O” so as much as possible, don’t use it! Spell out the word “zero” instead.

16. Singular or Plural? – Most of the time, domain names using the plural sound much better than using its singular, for instance educationinsuranceplans.com (with ‘s’) versus educationalinsuranceplan.com (without ‘s’). On the other hand it would also be best if you purchase both the plural and the singular domain names to avoid directing your visitors, again to a possible competitor website. Just redirect the other one to the better sounding domain name whether singular or plural.

17. Keyword optimized – Pick a domain name that has keywords closely related to your type of business. This will boost your site’s SEO (Search Engine Optimization) and it get more traffic.

18. Type-in traffic – Traffic can also come to your website from people who use the browser URL bar in doing their searches. When these people type in their search phrase including the extension “.com” into the browser bar, and if your domain name is an exact match, then you domain will have greater chances of receiving more traffic plus increase its SEO as well.

19. Dropped domains – Sometimes good domain names can become “dropped” or become unregistered, which normally happens when a company or business can no longer afford the domain’s renewal fee or simply had just forgotten to pay for it. These dropped domain names then become available for anyone to purchase which is a good chance for you to find a good domain name.

20. Domain auctions – A domain auction can also be a great source in finding the best domain name for your business at a fair price.

21. Price – Registering a new domain name typically costs $10 a year but if you buy one from an auction, it could cost anywhere ranging from $5 dollars to hundreds or thousands of dollars (plus annual renewal fee). Still, this is a good chance to find only top notch domain names for your business.

22. Copyright issues – Beware: Avoid being fooled and getting yourself in trouble. Some domain names for sale only infringe existing copyrights so make sure that you check with the US Copyright Office’s search feature before buying a particular domain name.

23. Commercially appealing – Don’t forget: the final domain name you pick should also be highly marketable or with good commercial appeal. Hint: if you think a domain name sounds good or would look good in a commercial or on a billboard, then it is highly marketable.

24. Brainstorm – Finally, if you still cannot think of a good domain name for your business then you can exchange ideas with friends or family members and see what you can come up with. Think of as many words or word combinations that are related to your business or website’s niche. List them all down and in no time you’d be able to come up with your top  3 best domain name options. The next step then would be to check which one is still available.

25. Start Now! – Decide on a good domain name as soon as you can. Someone else might just thought of the same domain name and beat you to purchasing it so hurry! Good luck!
